From Marrakech: Ouzoud waterfalls day tour A day trip to the Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech is a fantastic way to get out of the hustle and bustle, into the countryside to see the Morocco's highest waterfalls.
The Ouzoud Waterfalls (Cascades d'Ouzoud) are Morocco's highest falls, located near the village of Tanaghmeilt in the High Atlas Mountains. Once you arrive to the falls, you can swim or take a boat ride across the river, or go on an hour hike to find the source of the Waterfalls and observe the wild monkeys in the trees. You can view the waterfalls from one of the restaurants near the main falls on a more casual day. Ouzoud waterfalls are over 110 meters high, and they are certainly considered one of Morocco's most popular tourist attractions. |
