Take a quick moment to discover the unmissable areas of the city of Agadir on a 3 hours guided tour, where you will take breathtaking views a the top of the Kasbah, and then try your bargaining skills at a Souk El Hed (locals market), all as you learn about the history of this city.
At the start of Agadir city tour, we will be driving along the Agadir beach line promenade, then drive up the hill to Agadir Ou-fellah (Agadir hilltop), the city’s 16th-century Saadian Kasbah (Fortress that was built in 1572 ), which offers a complete panoramic view of the whole city and the fishing port. After the Kasbah stop, we will visit the Argan Oil House, where you will get information about a very rare oil, see how the Berber women produce what is known in Europe as a Golden Liquid and learn how they gather and dry the nuts, roast and grind the kernels and finally extract the pure oil. This is a truly a 100% Moroccan experience that should not be missed. Our final stop before returning back to the hotel, will be "Souk El Hed" or Sunday Market, which is the largest market in the region. Start your journey, by a stop at the fisherman village on the wild beach of Sidi R'bat, where you will have a chance to pop in to see the fishermen's caves and perhaps find some shells at the isolated beach. And then, drive into a Rally way on sand dunes and sandy terrain, on the side of the Atlantic ocean, then have a quick stop at Massa river, exactly at the park National of birds where you will spot -if you are lucky- some immigrating birds, before driving towards the walled city of Tiznit, where you will see the walls and the ramparts of the old city of Tiznit. Go for a walk in the old Medina (Old city), and browse the handmade Berber silver jewellery.
After the visit of the silver city of Tiznit, We will drive towards the atlas mountains, to enjoy a lunch of two meals (Tajine and Couscous) in a local Berber (Bedouin people) house, accompanied by a dessert of local seasonal fruits and a mint tea. ( Tajine, Couscous, dessert and the mint tea are all included in this trip - vegetarian meals can be requested as well). After lunch, you will have your free time in small Sahara dunes to take photos and enjoy your time on sand dunes, where you will be able to snap a quick camel ride tour. (Camel rides are not included and cost 5€/person). After the Sahara stop, we will travel to the reservoir of Youssef Ben Tachafine (water dam), while taking sights of everyday Moroccan country lifestyle, for a panoramic view from the top of the hill, before making your way back to Agadir. |

A gentle drive through the souss plain, after a quick stop on the way to spot the famous Argan tree climbing goats, will bring us to the ancient walled city of Taroudant (mini Marrakesh). A very friendly Berber village overlooked by the high atlas mountains. Taroudant, 80 kms from agadir, explores the 16th century capital of Saadian Empire.
After a quick visit to Taroudant's small traditional souk and a short climb to the fortified ramparts, that reveals the true beauty of the surrounding countryside, we will drive to the Oasis and the Casbah (Fortress) of Tiout, where a very tasty lunch is waiting for us. After lunch break, it will be the right time to stroll through the palm trees on a donkey ride and around the Casbah (Fortress) where the movie of Ali Baba and 40 thieves was filmed in the 50s. |

Experience the Sandboarding in Agadir with an ocean view, and get to see amazing views while enjoying unforgettable experience that comes with a very delicious home cooked traditional Tajine made with love by the locals.
After an hour drive up along the coast, passing by many villages on the way, including the surfers villages (Taghazout) and the banana village (Tamri: where we will have lunch in locals house), we will arrive to Taboga sand dunes, where your sand surfing experience will take place. Feel free to sandboard and explore the beautiful views of the area until you are out of energy. |
